OLFACTORY NARRATIVES

We don’t make perfume. We design the narratives that diffuse it.

We see fragrance as a living material, capable of revealing a place, elevating a moment and stirring an emotion. It does not simply adorn an experience; it is woven into its very essence, an intangible architecture that unfolds through space, accompanies movement and suspends time. At nysæ, we give it a form and a ritual, so that fragrance is not simply worn, but lived.

The studio was born from the meeting of a gardener, Charles Guerlain and a designer, Marion Saxod. Every project sits where these two worlds meet, a story translated into form and scent.

We work with luxury Maisons, hotels, galleries and cultural venues, at every scale, from a single object to a performance or a full installation. Window displays, launches, intimate dinners and private events become sensory territories, where every ritual turns into a signature. Our creations carry a fragrance into a boutique, a suite or a home, in limited series or made to measure. Recent projects include MIDI, an olfactory lunch for LVMH, and the Bendor Island residency for Zannier Hotels.

Each collaboration begins by listening to a brand, its story, its places and the people who will experience it. Alongside chefs, mixologists, biologists, engineers, we gather the materials and textures that will tell it, and design the form that will carry the scent, reinventing the way it is diffused each time. We work with a Maison’s own fragrances, or compose a new one with a perfumer chosen for the project. From the first gesture to the final note, every detail is considered and orchestrated. Each creation is conceived as a composition. An opening. A presence. An imprint.

In a world saturated with objects, we have chosen slowness. Each project becomes a statement, with the narrative as an intimate place, matter as a living body, and scent as an invisible language. And when the experience comes to an end, something remains: a signature that cannot be seen, but is not easily forgotten.
